I got some money for Christmas and debated on how to spend some of it. I researched and finally decided to buy some really nice workout clothing. I love my workouts and thought it would be fun to have some really nice things. Well, when the pants and top came in they looked so beautiful and fit like a dream. In fact, they're so nice I'm having a hard time wearing them to sweat in~which, by the way, is why I bought them. They are supposed to keep you drier and last a lot longer than the Walmart specials.
How many times do I do that with the children when homeschooling? Say, "Oh, let's wait until..." Or, how many times do I use that excuse with the Father? God's greatest gift is the time we have now. Rather than saving his blessings and my participation in them for a special time, I want to make every day special this year, drinking deeply of the goodness and joy of the Lord.
So, I promise you this~I'll break out those workout clothes this week. And I will do something I've heard quoted by Ellen Barrett, one of my favorite DVD workout teachers: I will "sweat glamorously."
Welcome!
